Multi Monitor Wallpaper App Reviews

Works great in Sierra

This works great for me in Sierra, just as advertised. Worth the money. Great app!

Exactly what I was looking for

What a fantastic app. I have a MacBook Pro, Thunderbolt Display and iPad Pro (connected by DuetDisplay). I loaded in a big picture, the system already had my three screens layed out properly. A couple of clicks later and it even applies the wallpaper itself. Had to do a bit tweaking up/down/left right on the displays relative locations to get them lined up, but all the tweaking I needed to do is supported in the app and can be applied and tested in few seconds. Couldn’t have asked for a better app. Nicely done!!!

Wish I had discovered this before

For all intents and purposes this just paid for itself. I generally get images to span across my 3 displays from Google Images by searching for certain sizes. In the past I have painstakingly cut these up into 3 separate images in Photoshop, which can take 5 minutes per image. Never again. This app is well worth the 2.99 for the time savings alone.

Default Wallpaper on Every Reboot

Great until you reboot, then your custom wallpaper is gone, and you’re back to the default wallpaper. Using it on both an old Yosemite install and a fresh El Cap install; on both systems, on every reboot, I have to launch this app, find the wallpaper, set it up again, and click Save. Why this thing can’t create a couple of temporary files and set them through OS X’s wallpaper chooser, I have no idea. Or why it can’t launch on startup automatically and restore the wallpaper is beyond me. It makes using this nice app a real bother.

Just what I wanted

I’ve been using this for several months with a three-monior setup and it runs flawlessly. The edit/adjust features are intuitive, and it has added to my desk Karma big-time. Thanks for the app!

EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!!!!

I’ve been an avid MAC/APPLE user since 2009 and doing VIDEO production, i have like 3-4 monitors… so I wanted to finally have something to have ONE wallpaper showing on all 4 devices. I searched, found this app, bought it and it’s been PERFECT and worth EVERY penny!!! THANK YOU for making this!!! I LOVE IT!!! JW

Could be perfect, but its not

Updated in 2014. Time for an update? I paid $3 for this hoping for the best but it falls short, as others have said. It can nicely and easily scale an image across my 3 screens but when i disconnect my laptop from my dock, i have to reopen this app and apply the wallpaper again or it looks way off on just my laptop screen. then when i connect my 2 23” displays again, all the wallpapers on each screen are different and i again have to reopen this app and apply the settings. would be nice if it auto-magically updated on its own. lazy much? yes I am but this is 2016 :)

Could be perfect...

Running 10.12.1 and each time I restart the two ‘non-main’ screens default back to the original Sierra desktop photo. A relaunch of this app and a click of the Apply and Save changes it back to the correct setup, but it gets annoying around the 100th time.

Wallpaper disappear

Everytime I restart my computer, wallpapers disappear and I have a blue wallpaper instead … My configuration : MacBook AIR + DisplayPort

Nice :)

Really nice App! Exactly what I was looking for.

Simply fantastic!

I just made a panoramic Hong Kong wallpaper spanning three different screen sizes with a few easy clicks. Really great app!

MUST HAVE FOR DUAL/MULTIPLE MONITORS

Apple provides the handling for multiple monitors but not for wallpaper. It is a super app that makes life easy for anyone who wants the monitors to look perfect! Make shure you have adjusted the position of your monitors in system preferences correct horizontally AND vertically. Then it is a snap to get perfect results. Thanks for the super app!

Amazing!

Finally! Ive found what Ive been looking for! Ive always had such a problem trying to set up a decent dual or triple screen panoramic wallpaper, Ive spent countless hours in photoshop trying to break up the photo, this took me 3 seconds and I was done! Definetly reccomend this to ANYBODY!! THANK YOU!!

AWESOME!!!

lol this is seriously what ive always been looking for dude you rock!!!!! but i dont think enough people know of this app, u need to get the word out!!!

Exactly what I was expecting

The most difficult part of the process is finding a high enough resolution enough image for 3 monitors. The software took seconds to figure out and did exactly what I was hoping for. Worth the $3.

Yosemite

Seems to not work in Yosemite. Not your guys fault but I did pay for this and the bad rating is solely based on hoping you will fix it. I’ll try reinstalling it and what not.

Buggy, not ready yet

great idea, but A. $.499 is WAY to much to ask for this simple program…. B. It might be the right price point if it worked properly. I have to hit save and apply (which is dumb as I might not want to save it, just apply) that will save a file to the folder of my choosing but it doesnt change the wallpaper… I must go back and hit the save/apply button again… Just not ready to be selling on the app store.

Great Multi Monitor Wallpaper Scaler!

Works pretty well, but can be buggy(having to restart a few times for searches)!! At first I experienced a lot of problems with the app, but most of the issues have been alleviated and the app seems to work as described(somewhat while being buggy) after Apples Recent updates. Worth the cost!! Hopefully future updates will allow for any image to be selected on your own HDD and not just Flickr images. Also, hopefull they fix a small bug which causes the Reset function not to work until you restart the app. The issues are very minor and if you want an app to strech/scale images across your multiple monitors, this is very easy to use, and worth the cost.

Does what it says…and well.

There arent many options for Multiple Monitor utilities for Mac. I found this to be exactly what I was looking for. I especially like the preview of what the monitors will look like and the fine-tuning thats possible. The developer responds well to suggestions.

I almost wrote this myself Ive been so desperate for this solution

No need for me to worry anymore! It works just right. Ive used a similar App for Windows for years now… but on Mac we had no solution like this. No we do. Finally. Awesome. It does what it claims. Which is all I want … I dont want a big fancy app, just something simple to handle the cropping and positioning of the wallpaper. Thank you to the author. Thank you!
